So, I've never done gingerbread houses with my kids, we have done gingerbread people before though, and Jake is off all week so he really wanted to do some things with the kids and suggested that maybe we should try our hand at some houses.
They didn't turn out so bad! Though I certinaly learned some things that I should keep in mind for next year! The kids had a good time with it and actually spent some time really doing it. Mara of course loved it-she would do crafts all day long! But the boys actually did really well which TOTALLY surprised me!
