Sucking up to the tooth fairy

So Mara is 5 1/2 and has her first loose tooth! This afternoon while I've sat here and tried to study for midterms I have been constantly interrupted by her wanting to know how to spell certain words.

I finally asked her what in the world she was writing:
Mara: I need to send some letters to the tooth fairy
Me: Why? Your tooth hasn't fallen out yet!
Mara: Because I want her to know what a good job she does, maybe if she and I are friends and she likes me she will give me more money when my tooth falls out"

I had to try very.....very...hard not to bust up laughing! That honestly has to be the best story I've heard in a long time!!

Thank you Mara, Mommy needed something like that to break up the craziness of studying!

Midterms....yuck. This time Math isn't even the issue! I got an A on my last test, it's Sociology! I thought picking this class would be easy--I'm social, I like to people watch, it should just all make sense!! But all these weird, kind of vague definitions that kind of sound like it could mean such and such...are REALLY throwing me for a loop! It's not as straight forward as I thought it would be!

Walking to class is beginning to be a pain too--literally, I have to pace myself-if I really get moving those braxton hicks like to kick right in, and those hurt! I find I have one area of muscle that really tightens up and doesn't want to let go and it will stay tight and just hurt for 15 minutes, which seriously makes it hard to focus in class!

Every week I think, "we are one week closer to December...just a little bit more". I can't wait for the semester to be done, to be closer to having this little one out!! I love babies, and honestly don't mind labor, I just don't like being pregnant and being pregnant doesn't like me either!

Only 122 days left! ha ha ha ha
